SV3380TXX: Hemimorphite with Calcite
Very different from others, this curious Hemimorphite occurs in groups of small crystals with an intense pearly luster, which contrasts with the brown Calcite of the base. Just what I said: different.
San Antonio Mine (San Antonio el Grande Mine), East Camp, Santa Eulalia District, Municipio Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua  Mexico
Specimen size: 7.7 × 6.2 × 4.4 cm = 3.03” × 2.44” × 1.73”
.
AN58Q6: Hemimorphite with Calcite
Very aerial growth of isolated elongated crystals, very well defined. The crystals show an excellent luster and perfect terminations, with slight reddish inclusions of Hematite and curious, very bright and transparent, crystals of Calcite.
Santa Eulalia District, Municipio Aquiles Serdán, Chihuahua  Mexico (1995)
Specimen size: 6.4 × 5.7 × 2.7 cm = 2.52” × 2.24” × 1.06”

Main crystal size: 3.9 × 0.8 cm = 1.54” × 0.31”
.
N10KH5: Hemimorphite with Hydrozincite
Small prismatic crystals of Hemimorphite, dark brown, very sharp and bright, partially covered by a bed of spheroidal groups of white Hydrozincite.
La Florida mining area, Herrería-Valdáliga-Rionansa, Comarca Costa Occidental/Saja-Nansa, Cantabria  Spain (1997)
Specimen size: 6.8 × 5.5 × 6 cm = 2.68” × 2.17” × 2.36”
.
N46YH5: Hemimorphite with Hydrozincite
Small prismatic crystals of Hemimorphite, dark brown, very sharp and bright, partially covered by a botryoidal uniform bed of white Hydrozincite.
La Florida mining area, Herrería-Valdáliga-Rionansa, Comarca Costa Occidental/Saja-Nansa, Cantabria  Spain (1997)
Specimen size: 14.3 × 11 × 4 cm = 5.63” × 4.33” × 1.57”

Main crystal size: 0.3 × 0.2 cm = 0.12” × 0.08”
.
NR14AL8: Hemimorphite with limonite
Radial aggregates of tabular Hemimorphite crystals on a limonite matrix, with excellent terminations, translucent, very lustrous and with a snow-white color. The specimen is of a rare high quality for the locality.
Precaución Mine, Cabezo de San Ginés, El Estrecho de San Ginés, Cartagena, Comarca Campo de Cartagena, Region of Murcia (Murcia)  Spain (1995)
Specimen size: 6 × 4.1 × 3 cm = 2.36” × 1.61” × 1.18”
.
MF66AB4: Hemimorphite with Mimetite
Fan-like aggregates and radial groups of flattened Hemimorphite crystals with excellent terminations. They are very well defined, separate, transparent, and bright, and are on a limonite matrix with small, intensely yellow bow-tie Mimetite groups. Ojuela is an epithermal polymetallic deposit hosted in Mesozoic limestones of the Aurora Group, associated with low-sulfidation hydrothermal systems with silver, lead, zinc, and secondary arsenate mineralization. The mine is world-famous for the exceptional diversity and quality of its secondary species, and it is the type locality for numerous mineral species. Among its most emblematic species are Hemimorphite, Adamite, Legrandite, Aurichalcite, Smithsonite, and many others...
Ojuela Mine, Mapimí, Municipio Mapimí, Durango  Mexico (1970-1980)
Specimen size: 8.2 × 4.7 × 6 cm = 3.23” × 1.85” × 2.36”

Main crystal size: 1.2 × 0.5 cm = 0.47” × 0.20”
.
TM76L3: Hemimorphite with Mimetite
Fan-shaped groups of transparent Hemimorphite crystals, with a very good brilliance and excellent terminations. Accompanied by very small aggregates of yellow greenish Mimetite crystals. On a Limonite matrix.
We will send the handwritten label of the sample, from T. L. Potucek, to the buyer of this esthetic specimen.
Ojuela Mine, level 7, Mapimí, Municipio Mapimí, Durango  Mexico (12/2004)
Specimen size: 8.3 × 6 × 4.3 cm = 3.27” × 2.36” × 1.69”
.
8MB76W7: Hemimorphite, Dolomite
Radial and fanlike groups of flattened crystals. They are translucent and very bright, with a slightly yellowish color zoning. They are on a limonite matrix. The sample is characteristic of finds in the seventies of the last century. Copper, gold, silver, lead and zinc have been exploited in this mine.
Ojuela Mine, Mapimí, Municipio Mapimí, Durango  Mexico (1970-1980)
Specimen size: 12.8 × 10.5 × 7.2 cm = 5.04”

Main crystal size: 0.8 × 0.3 cm = 0.31”
.
22TBB66: Hemimorphite, Smithsonite
Fragment of brecciated carbonate rock, partially mineralized in a fissure lined with a multitude of small, lustrous Smithsonite crystals with ocher tones, and with a later generation of Hemimorphite crystals, of good size, translucent, with very good luster and perfectly defined faces and edges. It comes from the old collection of Robert-Auguste Touchon and, curiously, once had attached a handwritten label that covered the crystals of Hemimorphite, impeding them from being observed. That now detached label will be sent to the buyer. Note that the locality of origin, Vieille Montagne in Kelmis, Belgium, was an important zinc producing district, where this type of specimen was known as calamines, and which is the type locality (TL) for several zinc minerals.
Altenberg Mine (Vieille Montagne Mine), Kelmis (La Calamine), Verviers, Liège Province, Wallonia Region  Belgium
Specimen size: 8.5 × 6.6 × 4.6 cm = 3.35” × 2.60” × 1.81”
