Russian Axinite-(Fe) specimens were famous for their size, deep color and sharp crystals. On this specimen the Axinite-(Fe) crystals are very aerial and well positioned on matrix. Very esthetic specimen.

TP69H3: Axinite-(Fe) with Calcite
Big floater, doubly-terminated crystal of very sharp faces and edges. We must note its color, an intense transparency near the edges and the neat contrast with white Calcite at the center of the sample.

TV47AA2: Axinite-(Fe) with Calcite
Very sharp floater Axinite-(Fe) crystal with small remnants of a feldspar matrix. The crystal is translucent, bright and has a considerable length for the locality.

TXB16AP6: Axinite-(Fe) with Chlorite
Very sharp crystals of Axinite-(Fe), transparent, with bright luster and a brown color with mauve tones, with Chlorite inclusions and on matrix. The specimen, from a locality little known for the species, comes from the collection of Robert-Auguste Touchon.

TC260EMC: Axinite-(Fe) with Epidote
Group of light brown, very sharp Axinite-(Fe) crystals, two of them clearly dominant and aerial, translucent, lustrous, with small aggregates of Epidote crystals. The specimen comes from the Alain Martaud collection, whose label we will send to the buyer.

TLA87AO6: Axinite-(Fe) with Epidote
Groups of flattened Axinite-(Fe) crystals, very sharp, transparent, with good luster and excellent color. On matrix, with Quartz and fine prismatic Epidote crystals. A French classic. The specimen comes from the collection of Jean-Louis Goux.

GK88R0: Axinite-(Fe) with Epidote and Quartz
Flattened sharp crystals of Axinite-(Fe) that are transparent, bright and have excellent color. They are on matrix, with Quartz and thin prismatic crystals of Epidote. A French classic. Before the Russian Axinites appeared, the French samples were considered the best.

TM96N9: Axinite-(Fe) with Quartz
Extraordinary example of Axinite-Fe, especially knowing its origin, a classic North American locality. The crystals are complete, transparent, bright, and of an excellent color, they are on a matrix of Quartz crystals with small crystals of Albite.
It is from the collection of Dr. Marvin D. Rausch (Massachusetts), whose label we’ll send to the buyer with the specimen.

EP13Y7: Axinite-(Fe) with Quartz and Albite
A novelty at Munich 2013. Very sharp Axinite-(Fe) crystals, most of them doubly terminated and showing parallel growths. Transparent, very bright and with a very deep color, they are on a matrix with small Quartz crystals, Albite and Epidote.

MX89X5: Axinite-(Fe) with Quartz and Calcite
Sharp single transparent and very bright crystal. It has very well defined faces and edges, shows a very deep color and it is on matrix, with Quartz and Calcite.

MA16Y8: Axinite-(Fe) with Quartz and Epidote
A novelty at Munich 2013. Very sharp Axinite-(Fe) crystals. They are translucent, very bright, have very well defined parallel growths and are on a matrix of Quartz crystals with two fan-like Epidote aggregates. Due its size, perfection and the pleasant disposition of the Axinite-(Fe) crystals on the Quartz, it is undoubtedly one of the best samples from this new locality that we have seen.

RM11M5: Axinite-(Fe) with Quartz pseudo Danburite
The sample is from a classic locality but, at the same time, uncommon. The crystals of Axinite-(Fe) are poorly defined but they offer the advantage of being associated with Quartz pseudomorphs after Danburite.
