NA10L6: Quartz (variety amethyst)
Parallel growth of amethyst crystals, with a second generation of small Quartz crystals, some of them doubly terminated, which grew perpendicular to the specimen main axis. Color is more intense in terminations. A very curious specimen for the locality. This specimen is from the AVE (Spanish High Speed Train) quarry works where actually it is quite impossible to obtain quality specimens.

RC99P8: Quartz (variety amethyst)
Probably this is one of the first amethyst samples from Las Vigas because the original label indicates that it was acquired in Tucson in 1968 and (erroneously) 'Guerrero' as the locality. MTX56CD1: Quartz (variety amethyst) after Fluorite
In Sidi Rahal, these Quartz crystal growths (amethyst variety) that replace the walls of cubic Fluorite crystals, have slightly amethyst color tones, which is why this specimen is so unusual. Its intense color, equivalent to that of the amethysts from Brazil, gives this specimen a very high level of quality. The Magazines ‘Lapis‘ and Le Règne Minéral‘ know this, and that is why they both reviewed it as a novelty for Munich 2023. Lapis on page 40 of their edition 12/ 2023 and Le Règne Minéral in its number 174/2023, page 25
