Group of Pyromorphite crystals with an elongated prismatic habit, with very well defined faces and edges, translucent, with good luster and a very vivid green color.

XM65NL: Pyromorphite
Aggregate of elongated Pyromorphite crystals with deep hopper terminations and very marked parallel growths, with good luster and a slightly greenish brown color, which makes the pieces from this pocket unmistakable. They have become a Spanish classic. The specimen comes from a pocket in an old lead mining area, already exploited in Roman times, and known for previous Pyromorphite finds.

Coating on matrix of Pyromorphite crystals with very well defined faces and edges, and other larger crystals, well outlined and with marked skeletal growths, with good luster and a greenish-yellow color.

AH52M4: Pyromorphite
Group of very sharp Pyromorphite crystals, some of them doubly terminated, with slight curvatures on the edges and a very visible color change between prism faces, green with brownish tones, and a yellow color on the terminal ones. The specimen was formerly in the Jordi Fabre collection (Nr. F649) and we will send the label to the buyer.

Globular crystals of creamy color, with Quartz and on matrix. This very old European classic had been analyzed to certify the species and we send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

Aggregate of very acute crystals with slightly curved faces and edges, with clear green color and white areas and on limonite matrix. We note the locality, where the Pyromorphite is a not so common.

A small, complete specimen that has all the features typical of its bigger brothers. So it is a good example for those people who love miniatures, above all else for its intense color.

Aggregate of Pyromorphite crystals, many of them doubly terminated, very well defined, with slightly curved faces and edges, bright and between a yellow and orange color. An excellent American classic.

VD59Y3: Pyromorphite
Group of crystals on matrix, with a very well marked barrel-shape and vivid orange color with the intense luster typical of this type of sample from the Bunker Hill Mine. As a rarity, we note a coating of a second generation of yellow crystals with a prismatic shape and very well marked curvatures of faces and edges. While this type of crystals is described as arsenical, nor by the bibliography or by analysis we have done previously, we know that this is so.
The piece is from the Harjo Neutkens collection, whose label we’ll send to the buyer.

A large monster! A huge crystal standing on the top of a matrix that is made up of other huge Pyromorphite crystals. The form is excellent and the color is very agreeable as it is turning towards golden brown. Everything complete, a floater and, as the photo shows, excellent!

KG68L9: Pyromorphite
Stunning group of extremely curved clusters of Pyromorphite crystals, that give a globular aspect to the specimen. These very aerial and esthetic globular aggregates are on a Limonite matrix. With an extraordinary color and luster. It has been reported that the globular orange crystals from Bunker Hill are arsenic-rich Pyromorphite specimens, so we analyzed some samples and the results are that they really are pure Pyromorphite, with no arsenic.
The specimen is from the James Catmur collection and we’ll send the label with the piece.

Prismatic crystals on matrix. The prisms are not well defined due to the fact that they are formed by aggregates of acicular crystals that give a satin luster to them. Color is good for the locality.

RF14R0: Pyromorphite
Group of small crystals with rounded faces and edges, most of them almost spherical. They are light green and on a first generation of very minute brownish crystals of the same Pyromorphite, all on matrix. Often with such old samples we haven't exact information about the precise locality.

EM46J7: Pyromorphite
One of the notable novelties from Ste. Marie-aux-Mines 2007. Group of prismatic crystals of very well defined faces and edges with skeletal terminations, on matrix. Their color and luster are really extraordinary, but we also especially note their translucency, easily visible under a strong light.
The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Rivista Mineralogica Italiana’ on page 287 in number 2007/4.

Very aerial miniature formed by divergent aggregates of very elongated prismatic crystals, almost acicular but with good terminations. Those crystals show a good luster and a uniform apple-green color.
