TE47K0: Beryl with Mica
Parallel growth of thick tabular, very clear, crystals in which also appear faces of the pyramid. On the sample there also is a thin coverage of Mica, probably Muscovite.

DA48G6: Beryl with Mica
A preciousness! The crystal is complete in all its faces and is divided in two in the front, fusing into a single body. Surface of crystal is irregular, with forms that seem to be dissolution, but it is complete, lustrous and with an inner soft blue and a centered mist of inclusions, visible by reflection. The base is a little matrix of Mica crystals. Its luster is exceptional.

MT90AJ6: Beryl with Muscovite
The Xuebaoding Beryl is characterized by its tabular morphology, well known but not common for the species. The crystals are transparent to translucent and have a very attractive and uniform light sky blue color and are on a matrix of Muscovite crystals.

TA62F3: Beryl with Muscovite
A crystallographic rarity. The crystal is almost exclusively formed by the faces of at least three pyramids, while the prism is almost inexistent. One side is covered with Muscovite, which contrasts well with the deep blue-green of the Beryl. This all makes for a strongly esthetic specimen whose base is formed by the surfaces of its contact with the pocket.

RC10V1: Beryl with Quartz and Muscovite
From a classic Spanish locality. Single crystal of beryl with defined faces and edges and more translucent and bright than usual for the samples from this locality. It's on Quartz matrix and has thin coatings of Muscovite.

RT6X8: Beryl with Quartz, Orthoclase and Muscovite
This sample is really a rarity for Switzerland. The Beryl crystals, with a pale blue color, are quite well defined and on matrix, with Quartz, Orthoclase and leafy Muscovite.

Sharp flat pale blue Beryl crystals including black Tourmaline crystals. Everything well placed on the matrix and associated with Mica. The luster of the Beryl crystal is great, the whole specimen is especially attractive.

Floater twinned Chrysoberyl crystals with very well defined parallel polycrystalline growths. It is translucent, bright and has an intense yellowish green color.

Three interpenetrating lustrous Chrysoberyl crystals forming a complete sixling; with very well defined edges and flattened crystal faces, olive-yellow-green and between translucent and transparent. A very aesthetic miniature.

TT96F2: Chrysoberyl (variety alexandrite)
Both the faces and the edges of this crystal are perfectly defined. The change in color between sunlight and bulb light is very typical of this variety of Chrysoberyl.

TC69AI2: Chrysoberyl (variety alexandrite) with Phlogopite
Alexandrite was one of the favorite gemstones of the Russian Czars and the Orenburg deposits provided excellent specimens, such as this floater crystal that formed a complete cyclic ( sixling) twin with a good color change according to the type of incident light, green with natural light and reddish-brownish under incandescent light. A very good Russian classic.

TB90AL8: Chrysoberyl (variety alexandrite) with Phlogopite
Group of twinned crystals of Chrysoberyl (variety alexandrite) with sharp faces and edges, on matrix and with Phlogopite. The translucent and lustrous crystals show a color change from vivid green to red-brown depending on the light source applied.

Doubly terminated Aquamarine crystal showing two different terminations. One of them with very curious rounded dissolution forms and the opposite has pyramid terminations. The prism faces are very rich in growth pits. Excellent transparency, good color and brilliance make this specimen a very interesting one.

MF97L7: Doubly terminated Beryl (variety aquamarine)
Excellent specimen, both its size and the excellent state of preservation. Doubly terminated crystal with very different terminations. One of them is very acute with multiple pyramid faces showing curious dissolution curved forms; the opposite is flat deliniated by small pyramid faces crossed by pinacoid planes. Excellent transparency, good color and brilliance make this specimen a very exceptional one.

TR28AF6: Doubly terminated Beryl (variety emerald)
Doubly terminated floater crystal with well-defined faces and edges and complete terminations, one of them simple and pinacoidal, the other showing an unusual polycrystalline growth with a deep structural incision that seems to break the crystal longitudinally into two symmetrical parts. The sample is transparent, bright, and vividly colored. The Chivor mining district corresponds to the historical group of emerald workings located in Chivor Municipality. It was already known and exploited in pre-Columbian times by the indigenous Muisca peoples. Geologically, the Chivor mining district forms part of the Eastern emerald belt of Boyacá. Emerald mineralization is hosted in Cretaceous sedimentary sequences, mainly black shales and bituminous limestones of the Guavio and Macanal formations. The emeralds occur in hydrothermal veins related to Andean tectonic fracturing, resulting from the interaction between beryllium-rich fluids and chromium- and vanadium-bearing host rocks. Typical mineral associations include Calcite, Dolomite, Pyrite, and occasionally Parisite and Fluorite.

TJ59H7: Doubly terminated Beryl (variety emerald) on Calcite
Prismatic doubly terminated crystal of very well defined faces and edges and excellent color and transparency that contrast with a white matrix of crystallized Calcite. We emphasize the perfect terminations both for the good definition of the flat faces and the intensity of the color. A beautiful miniature.

MB70L1: Twinned Chrysoberyl
This floating twinned Chrysoberyl, which has well-defined contours, intense yellow color and brilliance, shows an assymmetric growth due probably to formation conditions. The two parts of the twin are well marked by the central joint and fine divergent growth striations. Good size and very original.
