FB13AB9: Octahedral Fluorite with Microcline
Complex Fluorite crystals with the clearly predominant form of the octahedron and slightly curved dodecahedral faces. They are between transparent and translucent, have a lilac color and have associated small Microcline growths and smoky Quartz. The main octahedral-shaped crystal is huge for the locality.

Green octahedral crystals of well defined faces and edges on a matrix of Sphalerite. Between the Sphalerite and Fluorite there is a bed of radial groups of white fibrous crystals of Pectolite, also partially covering Fluorite.

An aesthetic group of octahedral Fluorite crystals with polycrystalline growths on the edges. The translucent Fluorite crystals have a very deep violet color, and they share their matrix with cubic Pyrite crystals and small Quartz crystals. The specimen is from a mine which went extinct many years ago.

FB86F9: Octahedral Fluorite with Pyrite and Sphalerite
The crystal is forming a complex growth in two different phases. In the first one the major octahedron formed and then on the octahedron vertices, smaller Fluorite crystals with dodecahedrons grew. Sphalerite and cubes of Pyrite form a perfect base to the sample. The Fluorite has good color and transparency and the referenced locality has become a classic.

Aggregate, on matrix, of very sharp octahedral Fluorite crystals that are translucent, have an intense and very uniform green color and are on a group of Quartz crystals with simple forms, and with very well defined phantom growths. The sample was in the Jan Buma collection who’s catalog card we’ll send to the buyer.
This sample has been referenced and pictured, as a novelty in Ste. Marie 2005, in the magazine 'Le Règne Minéral' number 64, page 12

EX88AK1: Octahedral Fluorite with Quartz
Octahedral crystal with the edges truncated by the faces of the cube and polycrystalline growths that give it the morphology known as "Aztec pyramid." The octahedral Fluorites are extremely rare at Panasqueira. The crystal, translucent and with an intense lilac-bluish color, has on its back remains of a matrix of crystalline Calcite and molds of missing Calcite crystals. The specimen comes from a recent find in the upper levels of Panasqueira.

ER50AE4: Octahedral Fluorite with Quartz and Chlorite
Single Fluorite crystal implanted on a Quartz crystal. The Fluorite has a neat octahedral shape but clearly shows two different growth phases, a crystal within a crystal!. The first one has slightly curved faces and edges and rough surfaces. The second phase has very sharp forms with perfectly defined faces and edges. It is translucent and has a very deep and uniform green color.
