Group of sharp crystals of Fluorite, translucent and pale green in color. The specimen comes from a local find that produced very few well-crystallized specimens.

TXB97XXX: Fluorite

Group of Fluorite crystals of good size and well developed, with well-defined faces and edges and without visible damage. They show a marked color contrast, with yellow tones at the base that gradually pass to violet in the outer zones of the crystals. An interesting specimen due to the intensity and distribution of the color. Ladywash Mine is a former mining operation located near Eyam. It is a classic locality well known among collectors for its lead and zinc minerals, especially from the oxidation zone. From a geological point of view, the mineralization occurs within the Derbyshire orefield, characterized by low-temperature hydrothermal veins hosted in Carboniferous limestones. These veins, locally known as 'rakes', gave rise to minerals such as Fluorite, Galena, Sphalerite and their alteration products, with frequent associations of secondary species in cavities and fractures formed by oxidation processes.

TP28AH0: Fluorite

A novelty at Tucson 2018. A group of Fluorite crystal cubes between translucent and transparent, with a very deep green color and marine-blue dichroism clearly visible in sunlight. The locality is totally new and, even though Madagascar is a well-known mineralogical paradise, there were no other references to Fluorite occurrences other than the small crystals included in Quartz from Mandronarivo.

Aggregate, on matrix, of cubic Fluorite crystals that are between transparent and translucent, very bright, with white inclusions, and they have an intense green color that slightly changes to violet in sunlight. The crystals are twinned and the dominant one is flattened, with a curious parallelepiped shape.

TCD44XXX: Fluorite

Floating group of cubic Fluorite crystals, very complete and with no noticeable damage. Particularly noteworthy are their bluish-green colour and the remarkable transparency of many of the crystals, with bright and well-defined faces. This is an old specimen, from July 1997, which belonged to George J. Wilson and was later acquired by Harry Critchley. A particularly attractive feature of the specimen is its intense fluorescence, accompanied by a marked colour change, perceptible even under different daylight conditions, a characteristic highly appreciated in Fluorites from this locality. Geologically, these Fluorites crystallized from fluorine-rich hydrothermal fluids that circulated through fractures developed in the Carboniferous limestones of Weardale.
