The Red Cloud Mine is a low-sulfidation hydrothermal deposit hosted in Paleozoic limestones of the Sonoran Desert, world-renowned for its exceptional red-orange Wulfenite crystals. The mine is part of a vein system rich in lead and silver, with abundant secondary oxides and molybdates formed during supergene oxidation.
