SJ97AC0: Rhodochrosite with Kentrolite
Spheroidal and botryoidal growths of Kentrolite, a rare manganese silicate, coated by botryoidal Rhodochrosite with an intense pink color. It is one of the best Kentrolites of a single find at the Peyrebrune Mine. We made the first announcement of this find after analyzing it, so we’ll send a copy of the analysis to the buyer.

TFR87AO0: Rhodochrosite with manganese oxides
Crystals of Rhodochrosite very sharp, transparent and with an intense color on a matrix of manganese oxides. The specimen, very characteristic of Uchucchaccua, is in a better state of preservation than is usual for specimens from that locality.

Aggregate of Rhodochrosite crystals with a prismatic shape and rhombohedral termination. Very transparent with an intense red color and in a vug coated by manganese oxides on a rocky matrix.

MD94AD2: Rhodochrosite with manganese oxides
Very sharp and acute scalenohedral Rhodochrosite crystals. They are transparent, have a very intense red color, and are on a matrix of manganese oxides with small Quartz crystals. The sample is very characteristic of Uchucchacua and it is better conserved than usual.

EQ36AC4: Rhodochrosite with manganese oxides
Sharp and very well defined crystals with the faces of a prism, a scalenohedron and a terminal rhombohedron. They are transparent, bright, with a very vivid, deep and luminous color. On a matrix with botryoidal aggregates of manganese oxides. At the base of the dominant crystal there is a recrystallized natural fissure.

Aggregate of scalenohedral crystals with acute, non broken, rhombohedral terminations. They are very bright and transparent, have a very intense, deep and uniform red color and are on a rocky matrix coated by a thin layer of black manganese oxides.

Group of scalenohedral crystals with intense deep red color that has made the Kuruman Rhodochrosite famous. They are on a Manganite matrix. The sample is from the well-known find of 1978.

TK98Q3: Rhodochrosite with Manganite
The crystals of the piece have a very uncommon habit, formed of subparallel polycrystalline aggregates with very well marked color zoning with a clearer strip in the center. They are on Manganite matrix. The sample is from the well known find of 1978.

MB68W9: Rhodochrosite with Natrolite, Aegirine and amphibole
Rhodochrosite crystals with very well defined faces and edges and intense pink color, with transparent colorless crystals of Natrolite and on a not determined amphibole matrix, with Aegirine. Different than usual.

MX49AJ1: Rhodochrosite with Pyrite
Druse with Rhodochrosite crystals formed by a prism with rhombohedral terminal faces and where two different growth phases can be clearly seen, an inner first one (perhaps Calcite further replaced by Rhodochrosite) that is translucent and with a more intense color, and a second one with a lighter pink color. The sample, from a classic US locality, shows on its lower edge small Pyrite crystals.

TC260EFB: Rhodochrosite with Quartz
Spheroidal growths of very lustrous rhombohedral Rhodochrosite microcrystals with an intense and uniform pink color, on matrix, with small Quartz crystals. Some similar specimens, with paler tones and from the same mine and period, were identified as manganese-bearing calcites, so we have had these with a more intense tone analyzed, and they turned out to be true rhodochrosites. We will send a copy of this new analysis to the buyer.
