17MGK56: Andradite, Ferro-actinolite, Titanite, Epidote, Microcline
Aggregate of rhombododecahedral Andradite crystals with a brown color, sharp and extraordinarily lustrous, with radiating Ferro-actinolite crystals covered by groups of small light brown Titanite crystals. Also has some isolated crystals of a second generation of Titanite. Some small isolated crystals of Epidote and some white crystals of Feldspar complete the combo. From a 2021 discovery in the Imilchil area, a reference locality for Morocco as well as an international one, a large skarn caused by the intrusion of igneous bodies into Jurassic era limestones and marls.
Imilchil area, Anti-Atlas, Er Rachidia Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region  Morocco (2021)
